Issue:

TypeTool 3 crashes whenever I try to generate a font. What is wrong?

Solution:

This can happen if you forget to name the font, using the File > Font Info dialog. 

If the Full Name field is empty TypeTool will crash on export.

Use the Build Names button to quickly auto-build all names before you export your font, or manually enter the names you prefer.
